Unit 8: Describing places adjectives

Continue 1 minute talk with different students.

Describing places (cut adjectives out and in groups of 5 turn one and decide where it goes)

Check all together: one student from each group writes them on board, if correct, they receive a point. Group with most points win.

Unit 8: Present perfect interrogative

 A few students speaking for 1 minute about a random topic picked from cards.

Elicit from students rules and use of present perfect affirmative and negative and make them deduce the order for interrogative sentences.

Use students as models with sentences to practice word order.

In pairs make questions to your partner practising the previous vocabulary items and take notes about your partner:

With the answers of the other, they have to speak about all the questions in front of everyone as if it were them.

• Teacher hands out pieces of paper with a word related to trips and the words that are forbidden.
• Students have to speak for the others to guess
