  • Would you buy it? For how much?

  • Who do you think has painted it? 

  • Can someone describe it: which colours does it have? What is in the painting
  • Does it represent anything? 
  • What name would you give this painting?
  • If I tell you that it costs 429$, would you believe it?
  • It I tell you that it was done by an animal, which one do you think?

Unit 8: Travelling (vocabulary exercises)


In pairs make questions to your partner practising the previous vocabulary items and take notes about your partner:
  1. Do you like travelling abroad? ______________________________
  2. How do you travel? ______________________________
  3. What countries have you travelled? ______________________________
  4. Who did you go with? __________________________________
  5. When was the last time you travelled somewhere?_______________________
  6. What is your favourite destination? ______________________________
  7. What do you usually put in your luggage? ______________________________
  8. Where would you like to go? Why? __________________________________

With the answers of the other, they have to speak about all the questions in front of everyone as if it were them.

Time to think it before going out.


  • Groups of 4/5
  • Teacher hands out pieces of paper with a word related to trips and the words that are forbidden.
  • Students have to speak for the others to guess


  • Once they have finished, each think of another word and give 3 forbidden words. Continue playing.
